Hadithi Njoo!!! which directly translated in Swahili means “story come”,  is our special treat to end this week for our young audience and those of us who are young at heart!
Wende is a Tanzanian-born author currently living in Finland and writes children’s books in Swahili and English.
She is very passionate about promoting reading for children and advocating for diversity in children’s literature. Her stories are inspired by African storytelling and folktales.
